WHEN TO GO TO LAS VEGAS:
If you have never been to Las Vegas, then I strongly suggest you go with someone who has been there before to show you the ropes and guide you and educate on you on things. In addition to keeping you safe while you are there.
The best days to go are during the week. If you don’t want to experience chaos and mayhem of “What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas” go on Mon-Thurs. A lot of people from LA/ State ofCalifornia drive to Vegas for the weekend to party and leave sunday to go back home. A true Las vegas experience is the Las vegas weekend Fri-Sun or USA long weekends. Hotel and Flights are double/ Triple the cost on weekends Fri and Sat.
The more budget friendly option is during the week Sun- Wed or Mon – Thurs and a dramatic price drop if you want to get away from or want some peace and quite from the craziness of a Vegas weekends.
The best months to go to are in April, May, Sept, Oct. T-shirt , shorts and long sleeve dress shirt/ spring jacket at night.
The summer months of June, July & Aug are extremely hot like opening up a 1000 F degree pizza oven and that heat just hits once you leave the front lobby of your hotel. Its a dry heat and still uncomfortable to be in. On east coast where Florida has that mugginess of the humidity. So you can pick your poison when dealing with destinations and the heat.
You will experience several heat wave warnings and advisory while there. Sometimes it gets so hot that airlines are forced to ground their planes because of extremely high temperatures. Hot air is less dense than cold air, and there are fewer air molecules to generate lift so airplanes require a longer runaway get off the ground. Certain hotels offer discount prices during those hot months.
Nov-Feb months, you will need to bring a hoodie or fall jacket as it can get very cold at night in the desert. You can find some good deals online on discounted vacation packages during these months as well.
